Payment methods and refund policy
- By Credit or Debit Card
When you order, through the website, by credit card. Payment by credit card is completely secure, while at the same time the amount is added to the user's credit balance immediately. The user who chooses to pay by credit card is directed to a secure server of Viva (legally licensed, according to the decision of the BoE No. 280/23-07-2018). Then, he gives the details of his credit or debit card and if it is approved, the amount is credited to his credit balance in Company (public proposal). It is then notified of the outcome of the transaction or not.
Recognizing the importance of the security of electronic payments, Viva is a licensed Payment Institution by the Bank of Greece and securely manages card payment transaction data, in accordance with the regulatory framework of the Card Transaction Security Management Standard. It is certified according to the Card Transaction Management Security Assurance Standard (PCIDSS). All its services are done through secure connections with 256 bit SSL certificates. It also supports the possibility of using the 3D Secure service, an additional safety net for VISA & MasterCard cards. The Payer will then have to enter their personal secret code to successfully complete the transaction.
- With PayPal and Revolut
You can pay with PayPal and Revolut. Your purchase will be charged to the card or account you submit with your order. If you use PayPal or Revolut, you consent to the use of your details by PayPal or Revolut respectively, as stated in the PayPal and Revolut Privacy Policy.
Additional information - Explanations
a) How secure is the credit card payment process?
The procedure is completely safe. The entry of the card details is not done directly in the Company (reservit.gr), but the user is transferred to a secure server of Viva. Therefore the Company (reservit.gr) has under no circumstances access to your card details.
b) What is the CVC / CVV field that is requested?
The CVC/CVV field is located on the back of your credit card and is a three-digit number. It is asked for extra security and protects you even more since it is very difficult for someone to know this field. To enter it, turn around and look at the back of your credit card. It is the three-digit number you will see and is usually located on the top right.
c) What happens if a mistake is made during the payment (e.g. the connection is cut or I press Cancel during the transfer)?
Whatever happens, the transaction has been recorded by us and your money will not be lost (as long as the amount is actually committed). The process is automated, controlled and there is no chance of losing money.
Refund policy
If your reservation is not honoured* and you have paid by credit card, your money will be refunded. The refund is made by the Company which is solely responsible for the return of the money to the card used. The consumer is not charged in this case for the refund.
* reservit.gr is responsible for the immediate transmission of the reservation - rental of sunbeds and parking space, to a company which is responsible for its acceptance and delivery. Non-service of an order consists in the non-delivery of the order by the company providing (the service) due to a lack of product - service or the inability of the company to serve the order and therefore the inability to complete the order and in no case does it mean the customer's dissatisfaction with the order unless the health regulations are violated.
Conditions of contract
Our company has the right to modify the above terms and has the responsibility to immediately update the text referred to in the transaction terms when any change to the terms is decided.
